Medical Review Officer (MRO)

Our Medical Review Officer, Donald S. Freedman, M.D., is certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers (AAMRO) and is supported by a professional staff, each of whom has over 15 years of experience in this specialized field.

Dr. Freedman received his degree from the Medical College of Georgia. AAMRO certification represents an objective standard of competency and expertise for MRO's across the country. Certification has been a recognized medical credential for 12 years.

AAMRO's certification is based upon the federal requirements developed by the Department of Health and Human Services for federal drug testing programs.

Certification is intended to ensure the public of quality services and the maintenance of ethical conduct by qualified professionals involved in drug and alcohol testing review. Also required is ongoing education for recertifications to ensure compliance with rapidly changing drug testing regulations.
